Tenorio River Class 3 to 4 rafting
The Tenorio River is a fast moving and potent river ideal for those looking for some quite technical and fun river sections. The river is surrounded by tropical dry forest, and it offers the tourist a series of interesting and challenging river rapids. The descent lasts for around 2 hours.
Corobici River River Floating
Coroboci is the ideal river for families, elderly or people looking for a soft adventure. Corobici offers soft Class 1 to 2 rapids, which allows for abundant wildlife observation during the descent. It is also a very clean river, with amazing natural beauty along its sides.

How long is the tour ?
The tours on the river last for around 2 hours to 3 hours, depending on the water levels. Additionally, you have to add the transportation from the hotel and back.
The tour lasts for around 6 hours in total, including the actually 2.5 hours of the river descent. Thew transportation, via land, takes around 1.5 hours each way.

Ocotal beach is a small black sanded beach located south of El Coco Beach, or Playas del Coco. It is a beach that offers plenty of accommodation options, mostly vacation rentals and luxury villas. There are few hotels in Ocotal, so in case you are looking for hotels, El Coco is a better option. The beach at Ocotal is calm, with few waves, thereby being a great beach for enjoying the water, snorkeling and sunbathing.
